What Can I (or they) Do?

I will try to make this short and sweet, which I know it
isn't. In 2005 I received a fully discharged bankruptcy in Boston,
MA. About a year later, we (my ex wife and I) started getting credit
card offers again. So we took them up on it. YAda., yada. It's 5 years
later, I lost a $12,000 judgement in court, (I was a no show in the
confusion) to a local law firm and they are trying to collect on it.
I don't have a great job and don't make alot of cash. In fact, I
make enough to pay my rent, insurances, car, and sometimes food. I
bareley get by and that is a fact. What, if anything can they do to
me? I have a payment plan, but sometimes I can't make it and fall
behind, but I am trying to communicate that to them.
I know I am in hot water, what can they do, and what can I do?
